Some things I've been loving this week
*the morning winter light. From just before sunrise until about 9 my living room is GORGEOUS
*the first week of Hibernate. It's such a gift this time of year to have ideas of ways to make home more beautiful
*some quiet alone time
*connecting to people in real life
*finding pockets of time to read
*signing up for Write Now
*that Amy is doing a giveaway of the next issue of Kindred Magazine::Nest
*also by Amy, her post on her daughters Fairy Project (love!)
*that Jen took the time to write out a list of authors they love. Such a great resource for the rest of us!
There's probably more but there's a little one calling for me!
What are you loving at the end of this week?
Like you, I am enjoying that I had some time to read this past week. I even finished a book. Your living room looks lovely in the morning light! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeletelovely list. I am thankful for a luncheon with a dear friend (who happens to knit), almost done with shredding papers, my knitting, the quiet :)
ReplyDeleteI am loving that there is a 3-day weekend coming up, and at the end of it, barring any airport delays, my husband will be back home again and out of Bangkok. I'm also loving that I went out to lunch and to the art store with my two younger kids after my 9yo's asthma appointment at Hasbro. I realized that while I used to do things like that ALL the time by myself with kids in tow, I avoided it when I was feeling my worst and it's only in the past few months that I've felt confident and capable to try again. Grateful for that.
