Linking up with Ginny again this week
I'm still working on my Boneyard shawl. It's coming along great...although the rows of stockinette stitch keep getting longer & longer! A great knit to do while watching TV or when Ree wants me to sit on the floor with her but not necessarily join in her play. I can stop in the middle of a row and not worry about having to figure out where I was.
I'm not really in the middle of any books at the moment. I did take out Amanda Soule's books last night. The Rhythm of Family because I had forgotten to read the chapter for February at the beginning of the month. Today is my husband's birthday and Ree wants him to have a hat so I looked through the Creative Family to see if I could adapt the birthday crown to an adult (I think I'll find another way to make him a hat). And while I was looking through those I decided to glance through Handmade Home as well.
Your shawl sounds like my kind of pattern :)
ReplyDeleteI've been intrigued by those books, I should check if our library has them.
I have not knit that shawl yet. It's on my list, love the color of yours. Happy birthday to your husband!!
ReplyDeleteHappy B Day to your hubby! I have Boneyard on my list but haven't gotten to it yet. I also want to ready Rhythym of the Home too - I need more hours in my day to do what I want to do!
ReplyDeleteThose last rows are the longest! Your daughter sounds like my puppy who wants me to sit on the floor with her all the time, too!
ReplyDeleteMy secret knitting involves long rows of knitting knitting knitting... hang in there, you will love it when it's done!
ReplyDeleteThe Rhythm of Family sounds so interesting; I'll have to look into it. I like the shawl pattern!
ReplyDeleteOoh, some of my favorites! I haven't picked up the Rhythm of Family yet, but I can't wait until I do!
ReplyDeleteThe shawl is looking gorgeous. I love that rich blue!
Now, that's a lovely stack of books. I still haven't got her latest.
ReplyDeleteThat shawl looks great and I have every one of those lovely books-so inspiring!
