Yarn Along
Well a little more knitting took place this week then last!
I'm almost finished with the pattern repeats on yet another Miranda Hat.
And I've finished everything but the stuffing and sewing up of one of my Rainbow Gnomes. Only 6 more of those to go! The sewing is the part that I'm not going to like. I think I may just knit them all up then sew them together at a later date.
Right now I'm in the middle of Another Piece of my Heart by Jane Green.

I love that Miranda pattern--really must do it for some grands.......!
ReplyDeleteLove the hat, its a cute pattern. Way back when I knit a sweater in the pattern for my daughter when she was a baby.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely pattern.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of sewing, either, but that feeling of satisfaction from a finished project is worth it!
You and I seem to be on the same knitting wave as I am almost done with my Miranda hat and we are both using almost the same color.
ReplyDeleteOh sewing...not something I can really do although I would love to learn how.
I like that pattern. It looks real pretty in white. You can really see the stitch detail.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to make some of those gnomes too, as I think they'd be a quick way to use up some scrap yarn. Add it to the queue...
ReplyDeleteLovely! A word of advice? Don't wait to sew them all at once. I'll bet you never get them done if you do that! At least, that's what would happen to me!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty hat.
ReplyDeleteI love Jane Green's books. I have to read that one when it hits my library. True fact: Jane Green lives in the next county (Fairfield County, Connecticut) over from where I live. It so cool that she lives not to far away.
I adore this hat in white!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love Jane Green's books too. I've not read the one you mentioned. I'll have to look for it when I get back from vacation. I'm always afraid I'm going to lose library books so I don't take them with me.
