This is not the best picture of my current knits. But the gray, rainy weather isn't conductive to my gray Oaklet shawl. We have a wedding to go to Memorial Day weekend and I'm hoping this will be finished to wear.
I'm also working on a few dish cloths for Mothers Day. Being dizzy for the past almost 5 days hasn't helped my knitting time though!!
I hope you feel better!
ReplyDeleteLove the color of your dishcloth - so cheerful :) And I can't wait to see your Oaklet. It's such a pretty pattern.
I wanted to work up some dish cloths for Moms day but time is slipping by.....love the color of yours! And your shawl is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better. I used to make dish clothes because they were small and travelled well, but a friend at works makes them and hands them out like candy so we have tons of them.
ReplyDeleteIs the dizziness clearing up? I do hope so and I have all the confidence that you will finish your shawl in time for the wedding. Positive thoughts!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy day.
I hope you are feeling better. I am just getting over some stuff too. I do hope you get some rest and some good knitting time in. Oh what a wonderful idea for Mommy Day! Your shawl is gorgeous! I love that color!

Love the bright orange yarn :) Great "cheering up" color on the drab days. Suns out here today-yippee!
ReplyDeletefeel better soon. I had vertigo once--(thank heavens only once!)--and it was awful! Good time to pamper yourself a bit and have a nice quiet knit.
ReplyDeleteThis weather is for the birds isn't it? I keep hearing about the Oaklette Shawl and I think I may have to cast it on soon...
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better. Dizzy is not fun!
Hope you finish your shawl in time. Your dishcloth looks like it could brighten up a grey day. It is wet and dreary here too and no good for photographing dark wool. Hope your dizziness passes soon.
ReplyDeleteHope the shawl turns out well! Can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteIt's almost like we're doing a knit-along, just the two of us! I'm cheering you on as you work to knit this by Memorial Day weekend and the wedding.
